First IFL Graduate conference in Analytic Philosophy

The Instituto de Filosofia da Linguagem at FCSH-Universidade Nova de Lisboa is proud to announce its First Graduate Student Conference in Analytic Philosophy, to be held on 31 May 2012 and 1 June 2012, as part of the “Knowledge and Ability” Project.

Call for Papers
We welcome submissions in all areas of Philosophy represented in the Analytic tradition, such as epistemology, the philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, ethics, philosophy of religion, metaphysics,
etc.
Submission deadline: 15 February 2012
Submission guidelines: Submissions should consist in a 1000-word abstract, and be suitable for blind review (paper's title, author's name, affiliation, and contact information on detachable cover page). Abstracts should be emailed as an attachment (in `.doc' or `.pdf' format) to conference organizer Klaus Gärtner at: klga AT gmx.de. The languages of the conference will be English and Portuguese. 

A selection of the best papers will be published in a volume to appear in the "Lisbon Philosophical Studies" series (Peter Lang).
