  1. The application form together with a short abstract must be delivered by the 31st of January 2012. You can apply for the conference only via the e-form on our website:
  2. The conference takes place on the 15th and 16th of March 2012.
  3. Individual presentations cannot be longer than 20 minutes, topic-related discussion approx. 10 minutes.
  4. Presentation languages: English (preferably), Slovak, Czech
  5. Please indicate any technical requirements in the application form.
  6. It will be possible to publish some of the presentations in the scientific journals Filozofia, or Organon F, of maximum length of 5-8 pages. If you are interested in publishing your presented text, please send it to the following address: Delivered texts must be grammatically and stylistically correct and delivered in a form as required by the editors. Directions on how to prepare the text for publishing in the journals may be found on the following website:

The articles must be sent by the 31st of March 2012.

  1. If your paper was not accepted by Filozofia or Organon F journals, it will be possible to publish your paper in reviewed text book.
  2. All applications will be confirmed by e-mail. A detailed agenda and further information about the conference will be sent to the applicants in February 2012.   3. One author has one free lunch in canteen during the day of his/her presentation, if required on application form.
  4. The Institute of Philosophy of SAS cannot provide any accommodation for the conference participants, nor provide any financial support. Low-cost accommodation tips and a map of the location of the Institute of Philosophy of SAS can be found on
