Abstract
The aim of this work is to show how plural and diverse social interaction is a necessary, but not sufficient condition for creating and establishing a reliable knowledge. For this reason, contextual empiricism and feminist epistemology will be used as a theoretical justification as well as several examples of biased investigations and experimets that hinder the guarantees of established knowledge. It is argued that these drawbacks can be overcome through collective processes in which pluralism and diversity are not only found in the development of experiments and the collection of evidences, but also in reviews and post hoc critical scrutinies. As a mind example, the problem of gender in the field of neuroscience is exposed. The need of processes that contain various perspectives and alternative proposals is defended in order to reveal the dysfunctions and contextual influences that determine the development of researchs.
