The Master’s Degree in Logic and Philosophy of Science is mainly focused towards academic research, training students to carry out research activities within the context of doctoral studies or research projects, both public and private. The degree improves students’ training in philosophy and in science-related disciplines, so that they are prepared to tech at secondary and pre-university education centres. In addition, the master’s degree provides the Region with highly qualified transdisciplinary professionals who can easily adapt to different jobs, ranging from the departments of human resources and cultural management in the field of business, to publishing companies and scientific journalism. The Master’s Degree also prepares them to carry out activities in advisory and consulting services (within the spectrums of science and innovation, communication and diffusion of science, cultural critique and mediation).
