Logic
This module provides an approach to different types of logic, focusing on their application to IT, the formal problems associated to their development, and the possibility of artificial intelligence and its evolution into intelligent systems.
Philosophy and History of Science
This module pursues aims such as the critical and methodological analysis of contemporary and historical philosophical texts and the acquisition of specialized knowledge both in the area of Philosophy and History of Natural and Social Sciences, and in the area of Philosophy and Technology.
Philosophy of Mind and Language
This module approaches several issues in the fields of Philosophy of Language, Philosophy of Mind and Epistemology. Some of these issues, such as those related to meaning, intentionality and representation theories, are closely interrelated and appear in these three disciplines.
Studies of Argumentation
The Argumentation module makes the Master in Logic and Philosophy of Science the only Master in Spain and one of the few in the world offering an advanced training in general argumentation theory.
